The Fulton Mansion was a wonderful historic site to visit. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a self guided tour and a scavenger hunt to make it even more entertaining. The rich history of this place and the attention to detail is beyond amazing. Definitely recommend if visiting Fulton or the Rockport area.
Ohh what a mansion!!!
A must see on your historical architectural wonders list, the Fulton mansion is a pleasant self tour that transports you to a time once before.
Tbh it didn't feel too haunted, if you desire that. The volunteers and guides were so kind, knowledgeable and well spirited.
When there's nobody in the basement however, the atmosphere does suddenly become somewhat uncanny.
Interesting piece of history. Engineered before its time with little upgrades that didn't exist over a century ago. The volunteers were fantastic in their knowledge and courtesy. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Awesome house to look at. Well laid out museum and information. Staff was super informative and a pleasure to talk to. We toured a few mansions in Houston later on our trip after seeing the Fulton Mansion and we agreed the Fulton Mansion was the best experience of them all.
Beautiful home with a wonderful view of the gulf. The house today is having new carpet placed so it actually was open but rooms without the furniture. The two ladies watching the house and offering a tour as it is were a delight. Friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. Enjoyed their information they shared. We enjoyed the home as it was today. Might one day return to see it furnished. The basement is a must to see.
A very informative, educational and enjoyable tour. The history of this mansion and of the family is very interesting. We’ll worth seeing. Hard to believe this used to be an RV Park.
My husband and I are on vacation in Rockport, visiting from Austin. We were looking for something to do since the weather had turned a little cooler. We decided to go check out this place. It was very interesting. The mansion is beautiful! We both enjoyed looking at everything. The lady working there is very sweet and had a lot to tell us about the history the house. We recommend going by to take a look around.
I enjoyed my time in both the Educational Center and Fulton Mansion today. Holiday seasonal activities and decorations made for a most memorable, nostalgic experience. I'm so glad I prioritized this tour during my stay here in Rockport. Absolutely incredible place to visit!
